No longer about teen hunger forces, not that it was ever about that, but the show will revolve around our favorite milkshake, side of fries and meatball engaging in detective work. This was the original premise of the show, but was dropped. However, they have apparently decided to give the idea a chance as the characters will be tackling their new job in a new city.

Saying goodbye to the New Jersey suburbs the boys will be moving to Seattle, with a new name, Aqua Unit Patrol Squad 1. We’re glad they changed the name, because without it then it would have just been a plot change, now it is like a brand new show for us to love! They’ve even got a new song. Schooly D’s theme has been replaced with a song from Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Josh Homme.

The retooled series will air on May 2, which will be the 100th episode of the show. Adult Swim announced the change with a video featuring a Meatwad puppet explains, “The creative forces behind Aqua Teen Hunger Force are unhappy with the pilot of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and the subsequent 99 episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force.”
